Special Thanks from the Staff Quartet. A special thank you from Larry, Brad, Chuck and Dave—The Staff Quartet—to our church family for allowing us to minister to you at Beach Night. Camp Barnabas Encouragers. Be an encouragement to those students participating in the Camp Barnabas Mission Trip as they minister to physically and mentally challenged children. CHILDREN & PRESCHOOL MINISTRY
Wacky Wednesday Nights. July 16 and 23, we’ll have a time of Bible study, games and fun, starting out in Club 56, for our kids entering 1st-7th grades. We’ll start at 6:00 p.m. and end at 7:30 p.m. Invite your Friends! Adults, please let Kristin know if you can help out one or more Wednesday nights.
Summer Fun Days, 4th-6th Graders: Houston Zoo trip is Thursday, July 31. Leave from the church at 9:00 a.m. and return at 4:00 p.m. Cost is $20. Sign up by Friday, July 25 by contacting the Childhood Office. Astros game is Thursday, Aug. 14. We’ll leave from the church at 11:00 a.m. and return at 5:00 p.m. Cost is $15 (plus bring money for lunch). Sign up by Friday, Aug. 8 by contacting the Childhood Office.

STUDENT MINISTRY (Grades 7-12)
Jr. High Trip is a one-day trip to Schlitterbahn Galveston for current grades 6-8 Thursday, Aug. 7. Cost is $50 for a one-day ticket, two meal tickets, and travel. Sponsors pay $40. See the youth newsletter for details.
One Voice during Summer. All participants in the One Voice ministry should continue to check our youth newsletter and youth website for their Sunday night One Voice assignments. We’re continuing to lead the Sunday night services throughout the Summer, so please keep your commitments to your assigned Sundays.
Open Gym at FUEL. Beginning June 4 and continuing throughout Summer, our Wednesday night FUEL Bible Study will be held in the FLC gym, 6:30-8:00 p.m. We will NOT be having FUEL July 23.
Camp Barnabas July 22-29. MEET THIS TUESDAY, JULY 22 AT 7:30 A.M. IN FLC PARKING LOT. Please begin praying for our trip to Purdy, Missouri as our students will be ministering to autistic and mentally challenged kids for the whole week. It’s fun and ministry as we serve as Jesus served!

MUSIC & WORSHIP MINISTRY

Kids Praise Summer Music Days KPSMD will be going to Carriage Inn in Lake Jackson this Tuesday, July 22 to sing and minister there. Parents are welcome to come along. Please bring your child(ren) to the Worship Center at 9:00 a.m. We’ll conclude our time at 11:00 a.m. with prayer in the Worship Center.
Celebration Choir will continue rehearsals through the month of July, but will enjoy a month-long break from rehearsals during August. Celebration Choir will continue to sing on Sunday mornings during August. Celebration Choir and all other music and worship ministry groups will resume the regular rehearsal schedule Sept. 7, the first Sunday after Labor Day.
