Sunday School

There is a place for you and every member of your family Sundays 9:00 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. From newborn through the most mature age, Sunday School offers sound, age-appropriate Bible teaching and a home base for relationship-building fellowship and caring ministry. It is through the Sunday School organization that members find a "small" church within a "large" church. Multiple classes within age groups allow relationships to grow, and the Bible content to be studied and applied to life.

GET HELP AT THE WELCOME CENTER
The Welcome Center, located in the lobby area outside the Worship Center organ-side entrance, is a great place to find assistance in locating your Sunday School class. If you are new to our church, just enter through the double glass doors under the big blue FBC sign on Yaupon Street and head straight until you find the Welcome Center.

Sunday School for Children - We offer classes for newborns through 4 year olds that meet each Sunday at 9:00 a.m. with age appropriate lessons and activities. We also have three different environments for our older children: Studio K12 for Kindergarten – 2nd grade; Route 34 for 3rd and 4th grade; and Club 56 for our 5th and 6th graders. Each environment meets at 9:00 a.m. each Sunday for fellowship and lesson in a large group, then break into small groups based on grade and gender. Our children's Sunday School classes are located on the children's wing (1st Floor of the B-Building).

Youth Sunday School - A fun, loving environment at 9:00 a.m. each Sunday morning. After large group time when exciting object lessons, videos and/or group activities are enjoyed, students are divided into small groups of the same grade and gender for relevant Bible teaching. Passionate youth leaders are there to make this a fun and meaningful experience. Our departments are broken into our 7th & 8th Grade Department, 9th and 10th Grade Department, and our 11th and 12th Grade Department. Our youth Sunday School is held on the 3rd Floor Youth Wing of the B-Building.

Special Needs Sunday School
- We have a compassionate group of teachers that love to teach and care for those with special needs. A welcoming Sunday School room and dedicated, friendly adults are ready to bring the Bible to life! Please feel free to call our church office to learn more about our volunteer staff and details about this class environment.

The TV Sunday School class at FBCLJ is a mixed age coed class that meets on Sunday mornings in the FBC Family Life Center Parlor at 401 Yaupon. St. in Lake Jackson. The class is also broadcast on cable Channel 19 through Brazosport Community TV.

BROADCAST TIMES:
- Every night at midnight (except Monday nights)
- Saturdays at 8:00 a.m.
- Sundays at 6:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.

Taught in lecture format by Charles Castleberry, a deacon and long-time member of FBCLJ, the Bible is taught as the infallible Word of God, given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness that the man of God may be perfect thoroughly furnished for all good works. Let your friends know. Bring a friend. This will be a good opportunity to invite someone to come to church or watch on TV.
