FROM THE PASTOR
Candle of Peace. Each Sunday of Advent, we will be lighting a new candle as we continue to prepare our hearts for the celebration of the advent (coming) of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Today as we light the Candle of Peace, we are reminded that the advent (coming) of Christ has brought peace in the world. “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
Sharing the Gift of Christ - Cuisine & Conversation. Wed. night, Dec. 11, we are asking that you invite someone you know who does believe that Jesus Christ is GOD’S INDESCRIBABLE GIFT to share a meal, but more importantly, to share the love of Christ and the true meaning of Christmas with them. It is so easy to talk about being on Mission for God and sharing Christ, but it’s much harder to put action to our words. We hope you take advantage of this time and open your home with the purpose of sharing Christ.
