Max Winfrey is Coming to Upward Awards Feb. 22! Think fast! You’d better if you’re gonna sit within sight of stunt comedian Max Winfrey at his show. That can come in handy if you see a bowling ball flying toward your head! Or when you find yourself on stage In the world’s only audience participatory knife throwing act! With a gift for high-speed wit and off-the-wall skills like kitchen sink juggling, Max has left a trail of laughs and gasps from the streets of Walt Disney World all the way to TV. Most recently he was chosen from a group of over 70,000 acts to be a semi finalist on the hit NBC show, “America’s Got Talent“. He comes to FBCLJ Feb. 22 as a part of our Upward Awards Ceremony. Find out more about Max at www.maxwinfrey.com
Energetic Half-Time Devotion Leaders, Score Keepers and Leo the Lion Mascots Needed! Our Upward Basketball ministry is in need of fun and exciting folks (teens and adults!) who will serve as half-time devotion leaders at our basketball games on Saturdays from Jan. 10 thru Feb. 21. You can do as little or as many games as you like and we can custom fit to your schedule. During half-time of basketball games, leaders on a rotation will present a short 2-3 minute devotion along with a fun “Minute-to-Win-It” game that involves people from the crowd. We also need teens to serve as scorekeepers and our mascot Leo the Lion. Contact Brad if you are interested.
