FISH Children's Ministry Overview
F.I.S.H. Faithful In Serving Him
“Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Matthew 4:19
F.I.S.H. Ministries’ mission is teach children to be disciples for Christ. We want children to practice John 13:34; love one another as Christ loves each of us. We also want to encourage parents to be involved their child's spiritual growth. Within FISH Children’s Ministry we have four age appropriate environments that are each designed to appeal to a child's senses of wonder, discovery and passion. We want children to understand serving christ is to love everyone around them and to glorify God in all that they do. We encourage your family to be a part of the following:
Sunday School (Knowing Him)- On Sunday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. children ages birth through sixth grade learn about God by studying His Word through age-appropriate activities in their specific environments. Jungle Preschool Area: Newborns through 4 years old; Studio K12: Kindergarten through 2nd grade; Route 34: 3rd and 4th grade; and Club 56: 5th and 6th grade (Preteen). Not sure where to go? Each Sunday morning, greeters will be at our doors to welcome you and show both you and your child to your class.
Wednesday Night (Making Him Known)- there are special designed classes for both preschoolers and children. Preschoolers (3 through 5 year olds) meet together from 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. Children (Kindergarten through 4th grade & 5th and 6th grade) meet together from 6:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Each group spends time learning how to live out what they learned on Sunday through Bible Study, study of missions, activities, ministry projects, etc.
Special Events- Throughout the year there will be special events for families, preschoolers and children. Some examples are: Sports Camp, Preteen Camp, Summer Fun Days, Family Picnics, Fall Festival, Christmas activities, Family Retreat, Baby Dedication, etc.
