Below is an outline of the Worship Ministry's Purpose, Mission, Vision and Values that dictates our heart for God and passion for His glory in the area of Worship.

Purpose
We want to maximize our passion for God’s greatness in our own hearts and in the world that we live in. Our church gathers to worship God on Sunday and scatters the rest of the week to worship Him wherever He has placed us. We want to equip our people to live lives of worship where Jesus Christ is put first in hearts, minds, and actions.

Mission
The worship ministry of First Baptist Church Lake Jackson exists to help spread a passion for the supremacy and sufficiency of Christ in all things.

Vision and Values
God's Word saturates and permeates every area of our worship services, from the preaching to the lyrics of the songs we sing. Traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs are both recognized as significant vehicles through which we can commune with God corporately in our worship services.
The exegetical expository proclamation of God's Word is a cornerstone of our worship services.
