Chuck Pace
Minister of Administration and Outreach
Chuck joined the FBCLJ staff in March, 1995, serving as Minister of Education until beginning his current role in July, 2007. He and his wife, Marilyn, are both Aggies, having met at the Texas A&M University BSU(M) in 198_, oops, uh, several years ago. Marilyn has taught in public and private schools, homeschooled for ten years, and now tutors math students following her day teaching math at Brazosport Christian School.
Son Collins is a recent graduate of Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Daughter Catherine and her husband, Ryan Vaughn, also live in the Lynchburg area. Ryan is working toward his masters degree in Christian counseling at Liberty.
Prior to coming to Lake Jackson, Chuck served Southside Baptist Church in Palestine, Texas for seven years after graduating from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
In his leisure time, Chuck enjoys shooting the basketball (different from playing it), grocery couponing, and backgammon.
Chuck sums up his philosophy: "The church should be the friendliest group of people in town, and have the most accommodating facilities in town. Love the Lord, love people. Work hard, pray harder."
