Mission Trip To Galena Alaska.  FBC Lake Jackson will be partnering with Samaritan's Purse this summer to help in the disaster relief effort in Galena.  There is a tentative trip scheduled for August 2nd through August 12th with other trips as a possibility depending on the interest level.  If you have any desire to go to Galena this summer as a part of a construction team, please join us on Sunday, April 27th, immediately after the morning worship service in the Pastor's office for an informational meeting.
The Mission of FBC Lake Jackson.  In response to our 40 Day Challenge and the call of Christ to follow, we will be looking at the mission God has given us at FBCLJ To Know Him and Make Him Known.  On Sun., April 27, you will hear a sermon entitled “His Call” as we hear Christ’s call to be on mission in the world around us.  Then, on Sun., May 4, we will have a general assembly on the third floor of all Sunday School classes (youth and up) for a seminar to hear the details regarding how FBCLJ will seek to accomplish the mission Christ has called us to.  After the general assembly on the third floor, we will gather for worship and you will hear a sermon entitled “Our Response” where each member will be given an opportunity to respond to Christ’s call to be on mission.  Please make every effort to join us for these two very important Sundays as we respond to the Risen Lord and His call to be on mission!
