Upward Basketball - Upward basketball is a program held each fall/winter for children in grades 1-6 who live in the Lake Jackson/Brazosport area. It features separate leagues for girls and boys, equal playing time, a positive, child-focused competitive atmosphere, recognition for all players, and a special Awards Program at the end of the season. IMPORTANT BALL AND GOAL INFORMATION
All leagues use 28.5" basketballs for games and practices. The goals are at the following heights:
8' for Grades 1 & 2
9' for Grades 3 & 4
10' for Grades 5 & 6
